Summer Job as an Environmental Worker in Gotland

We are now looking for an engaged and positive environmental worker with a B driver's license who wants to work this summer in Gotland. About the Job

Verdis is responsible for waste collection in Gotland, with Region Gotland as the client and partner. We are now looking for an engaged and positive environmental worker for the summer season of 2026.

In this role, you will work with the collection and transport of latrine containers – an important task to keep Gotland clean and functional. You are our face to the public and meet residents and visitors in a service-oriented role. The work is varied, physical, and independent – while you have support from your colleagues and our local management.

You will be based at our depot in Visby and report to the on-site management.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Collection and exchange of latrine containers according to the driving schedule
• Safe and hygienic handling and transport of latrine
• Reporting deviations and documentation in our systems
• Daily supervision of vehicles
• Contact with customers as needed

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a B driver's license
• Masters Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in transport, service professions, or waste collection
• Good local knowledge of Gotland
• Experience working practically, physically, and outdoors
